Is your church small? I have attended the Nazarene Church before. 200 members I think. The singles there were 45 yrs and up. The 30ish singles called themselves something else as a class. There were no children and no previous marriages among the group. It was okay. I just preferred the whole church after church functions like the potluck dinners once a month.
Our group is one little corner of a charismatic mega-church so all-church functions are huge. There's about thirty that are active in the singles group, and about thirty in my Sunday-school class, with considerable overlap between the two. I do try to inject some Nazarene doctrine into Sunday school lessons, with occasional success...
