Land Work Day 7
After a good night's sleep over at RCJ's place we returned to La Casa to move the big stuff - a heavy old television that Southern Man just can't wrestle down the stairs alone anymore, a big recliner, some nice shelves, and so on - and managed to get it all done in two trips.
A good start to the Man Cave.
After moving and setting up and more than a few rounds of Guitar Hero we then headed to RCJ's sister's house to do a little plumbing.
RCJ under the sink.
And finally we treated ourselves to dinner and drinks at our favorite Mexican restaurant and parted company after a full and productive day. Tomorrow is the final full day off; Southern Man reports back for meetings and such on Tuesday.

I actually got to play with Guitar Hero when I was visiting my son a few years back. He said that a person that can play a real guitar actually has a disadvantage compared to someone who can't, because the technique is a little different. After messing with it for a while, I agree with him.

It is a blessing to have a good friend like RCJ. Sounds like he is a keeper. Have you known him long? Was he there for you when your marriage ended? Sounds like you really really trust him...nothing but positive posts.
My mad guitar hero skills are due to decades of violin and piano lessons, which wire your fingers directly to your eyeballs. It's much more like playing the violin than piano or guitar.
RCJ and I have been friends since junior high. I used to bicycle ten miles to his house all the time and we slept in each others bedrooms more times than I can remember. He's a good guy.
