Choice

If a woman is pregnant and doesn't want the child but the father does, does the father have a choice?

The choice was made when the "deed" was done. The choice is a child not a decision. To "chose" to abort the life is murder plain and simple...even in the case of rape. My grandmother was raped, she had my mother.

If you do not want children but want to sleep around, then get yourself fixed like we do our dogs!

I think your point is that the father's input is frequently not taken seriously, and that's a problem.

I guess we could emulate Solomon and say the child should be split in half, and the party that wants the child can keep his/her half alive.

In all seriousness, though, until we agree as a nation just when human life begins, this pro-choice/pro-life argument will not go away.

The father's input...hmmmm. Well if HE wants to carry the kid inside him for 9 months and go thru all the crap that a woman has to suffer, then by all means get his input. Until then, the men can just shut up about. It's not like they even take care of the kids once they are born...money does not count, being in the same room does not count. I am talking about day to day, hour by hour care. Every lesbie I know had a non emotional out of touch dad.

If you are not ready to be a parent, then don't have unprotected sex!
